Dr. Sunil Raichand is a board-certified comprehensive general ophthalmologist, as well as a cornea specialist. He completed his undergraduate training at the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. He was then accepted to the Tufts University School of Medicine, where he graduated in the top 10% of his class. He completed his internship at the University of Chicago and residency training in ophthalmology at Northwestern University. Dr. Raichand then completed a corneal external disease fellowship at the prestigious University of Washington Barnes-Jewish Hospital. His interests include cataract surgery, corneal transplants, diabetic eye care, glaucoma, allergic eye disease, autoimmune eye disease, and inflammatory ocular conditions. Dr. Raichand is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and the American Medical Association.
